WHAT HAPPENED TO SARACENS…by Louis 6th Form

Emergency meeting at Saracens as threat of relegation looms large

English Premiership and European rugby union champions Saracens have been docked 35 points and fined $7 million. The club was found guilty of breaching rules on player wages after an investigation from the Daily Mail and Premiership Rugby. Saracens will appeal the findings. Saracens will not be allowed to compete in the Champions cup until they get promoted most likely next year. The stupid thing about it all is they were fined and had the fine reduced by half but did it again a week or two later forcing European rugby to double their punishment. Many fans are disappointed in their club including some players such as Alex Goode and Sean Maitland who will be leaving the club this year.
