Alligator vs crocodiles by Russell

Whats the difference between an Alligator and a crocodile

  1. Alligators have wide “U” shaped, rounded snout (like a shovel), whereas crocodiles tend to have longer and more pointed “V” shaped noses.
  2. There is a general size difference between alligators and crocodiles. An adult crocodile can grow up to roughly 19feet long, whereas for alligators the length is around 14 feet.
  3. Alligators are instinctively afraid of humans, but can lose some of their fear if they come into regular contact with humans. Crocodiles, on the other hand, are much more bad-tempered and far more likely to attack adult humans.

If you come across any of these run or swim as fast as you can.
